The Duanwu or Dragon Boat Festival, is generally celebrated on

the fifth month of the Chinese lunar calendar, falls on June 7th this

year. It is one of the oldest festivals in China, with a history of more

of the Warring States Periods.

The festival is best known for its dragon-boat races, especially
